The Laptop Battle is coming up!

click on these pictures for links to more info.

The next battle is within weeks. It should definitely be a good one. I can't wait.
I was going to re-enter the competition, but I apparently missed the deadline. whoops!
Oh well I'm busy enough as it is I guess, and I've always joked about how funny it would be if ever there was some serious asshole laptop jockey trying to hold down the title of champ for year after year after year...that would be ridiculous!
HA!

He was on fire last night droppin' it like no one else.
His name is Let's Go Outside from Portland, Oregon.
His beats were so filthy and psychedelic. The sound was techno, techno, techno, and bits of glitch and electro and just all sorts of hints of electronic music past, present and future.
He brought it, and all he had was a laptop! I literally danced for hours.
Now I'm paying for-I got my ass kicked! What a wonderful time!

Last night there were a wealth of parties across town.
I happened to be playing at Electric Avenue with Kris Moon and Jizosh.
Kris Moon ripped it up hard too I was into it every bit.
He had the tasty blend of hip hop, techno, electro, old school, ghetto,
feel good vibe with a splash of gabber hardcore for novelty.

I also heard a crazy Live Hardware set at the end of the night from a mysterious fellow from Detroit. He dropped the sickest dark electro dub glitch 808 bass heavy b-boy freak out that I've ever heard. I will find out more about him and update you on that too. ASAP.

I'm sorry but my only thing to complain about is the fog machine.
After awhile it got to be too much. Oh well.

check this out!

it actually says you can use eucalyptus and a humidifier as an alternative to enhancing
lights, lazers, and scanners. This is something I'd love to check out.
At the bottom is some data from 1991 about the dangers of fog machines.
It's the true reason ravers wear face masks, and sometime utilize a eucalyptus based product to help their breathing in such harsh conditions. Imagine how stoked they'd be to not have to wear the mask, and just breath in the vapors!!! I know I would;)
There should be a law that enforces the use of this alternative by the year 2020. Down with the the fog machine industry- it's ruining our children's lives!:)
